What is the Engineering for the Earth (E4E) Graduate Level Engineering Scholarship?

The E4E Graduate Level Engineering Scholarship is a one-year, one-time scholarship award of $1,000 (students can re-apply each year) offered to students with ambitions of working towards Green practices in all disciplines of engineering.

What is the purpose of the E4E scholarship?

The purpose of the scholarship is to instill Green thinking in all applications of engineering, in hopes that Master’s Candidates will one day apply it to real world engineering practices.

Who is eligible to apply for the E4E scholarship?

The Engineering for the Earth Graduate Level Engineering Scholarship application is open to Master’s Students in any discipline of engineering, who currently are enrolled or will be enrolled full-time in an accredited engineering program the current academic year at a college/university anywhere in the U.S.  All applicants must have maintained an average G.P.A. of 3.5 or greater to be considered.

What is expected from E4E scholarship recipients?

Once awarded the E4E Graduate Level Engineering Scholarship, recipients are expected to take at least one course within the academic year that applies to the Mission Statement of E4E.  At the end of the year E4E requires the recipient to submit a report pertaining to their overall experience.  This report will be presented to a Committee of the Board of Directors by the recipient.  A copy of all reports will be filed, and may be posted on the E4E website, as a record of past scholarship recipients.
